Are you a Modern Day Black Mama?
MODERN DAY
All my millennial’s stand up!! Anyone born between 1981 and 1996 (currently ages 22-37) is considered a millennial. Today, millennial’s are making bold moves like starting businesses, earning multiple degrees, working from home, breastfeeding, working out and more. We’re living our BEST LIVES! It’s not just about us millennial’s though, families today are just that- modern! They are different then when I was growing up. Just as millennial’s, families today look different. Kids are being raised by grandparents and extended family, single, same sex, married, divorced, and widowed parents! And you know what- that’s OK!
BLACK
Most think when I say Black- it only pertains to African American Women. Black is a color, not a race. Black means African American, Latino, Asian, Indian and all other women of any underrepresented group! Hell WOMEN are underrepresented! This is for all of us ✊🏾✊🏻✊✊🏼✊🏽✊🏿
MAMA
Yes, traditionally I am speaking of “Mother”. But a mother comes in many forms as well. Biological, adopted, foster, auntie-moms, godparents, grandparents! For all those raising dope human beings- Thank YOU for making Motherhood so DOPE!
